The international remittance and transfer service (TransferWise) allows users to transfer funds to other countries at lower rates than banks, and soon the service will support Apple Pay in the United States and elsewhere. TransferWise's iOS application has been updated to the latest 3.1.2 version this week.
TransferWise said that countries such as the United States, Australia, Switzerland, France, Spain, Ireland and Italy will support remittances through the Apple Pay. Prior to this, the Apple Pay option was restricted to British residents.
In other words, iPhone and iPad users in these countries will no longer need to bind bank cards or add bank accounts in TransferWise applications, and they may choose to use Apple Pay as their source of funding. After completing the cross-border remittance, the bank card bound by Apple Pay will deduct the amount.
Currently, iOS users can download the TransferWise version of 3.1.2 for free at App Store, which is 50MB in size and requires a iOS 9 or higher version of the system. Apple Pay continues his international promotion, was recently extended to the United States, Italy, Russia, Britain and China part of new banking institutions, and carried out a series of promotional activities in Chinese.
