Sony pushed the new car entertainment system to support CarPlay

Sony has introduced a new XAV-AX200 car audio receiver, it also supports Apple's CarPlay system.

The new XAV-AX200 is equipped with a 6.4-inch touch screen, Bluetooth, DVD player, configurable steering wheel input, FLAC lossless music support (USB) and SiriusXM radio, built-in 4-channel amplifier, three external camera inputs. Unlike other displays that support CarPlay, Sony's XAV-AX200 is compatible with Google's Android Auto system. Sony said the XAV-AX200 and MEX-GS820BT will be in the North before the end of the North American market, the price is not published. The old XAV-AX100 in the US market retail price between $ 499-549.

Other vendors currently offering CarPlay systems include Alpine, Clarion, Kenwood, JBL, JVC and Pioneer.
