Dropbox has agreed to rent 736,000 square feet (68,000 square meters) of office space in San Francisco's Mission Bay community. The deal is the largest office building lease in the city's history.
The office building, which is called "The Exchange", is still under construction, costing $ 570 million and the developer is Kilroy Realty Corporation. In addition to office space, this building also has 14,000 square feet of retail space, these retail space will be leased to other companies.
Dropbox's new office building will be located in the San Francisco 16th Street and Owens Avenue Interchange Mission Bay community, the entire building a total of 4 layers.
Dropbox's lease is 15 years, it will start from the end of 2018 into three batches into the new building. The company did not disclose the price of the leasing transaction.

Dropbox's current office is located in San Francisco's South Beach neighborhood, about 25 minutes from the new building. The company moved into the current office building in April 2016.
The company's current office has a 5-inch high chrome panda statue, allegedly priced at about $ 100,000, which represents the company from an active Silicon Valley darling into a profit-oriented serious business.
A representative of Dropbox declined to say whether the company would move the statue of the Panda to the new office.
