The host introduced that today is our fourth Internet + summit, this time the largest scale since the fourth. Twelve sub-forums were set up this time, and the total number of people in total has exceeded 6,000. It can be said that our scale in Hangzhou has expanded since last year. This time, our sub-forum also added new areas, including retail, financial and creative space.

This time we chose Chongqing to be very meaningful. On the one hand, the city of Chongqing is very representative of China’s digitization process. It is located in the west and is very innovative and dynamic. We all expect it to be able to lead the “impending overtaking” in the western region through digital upgrades; on the other hand, Just as old Yang Xueshan used the metaphor of the intersection of the Jialing River and the Yangtze River, the Jialing River flows into the Yangtze River here, vividly and vividly symbolizing the integration of the Internet and the entire Chinese economy and society. I also hope that we can become a fine digital craftsman in Professor Yang's mouth. We hope to play such a role.

As we all know, the report on the work of the Central Government in 2015 put forward the “Internet Plus”. Last year, we introduced the “digital economy”. This year we even proposed “digital China”. We can say that the digitization process is moving forward every year. According to my understanding, "Internet Plus" is a means. Digital economy is the result. Digital China and the Internet Power are the goals. They are in the same line.

This process can also be understood as "a vertical", "a horizontal" and "a new". "One vertical" means that "Internet +" has been continuously deepened and merged with various vertical industries to develop a digital economy. “One horizontal” means that the digitization process has rapidly expanded from the economic field to various fields in society, including government affairs, people's livelihood, and so on, thus promoting the construction of digital China. “A new” refers to the innovation brought about by the convergence of vertical and horizontal intersections. It promotes the transformation of China’s economy from high-speed growth to high-quality growth and ultimately achieves the goal of moving from a big country to a strong country.

Today, I would like to share with you what Tencent should hope to play, what role to play, and what goals to achieve in the digitalization process in China. I'm trying to use the numbers “1357” to start this: one goal, three roles, five fields, and seven tools.

"One goal": In the past few years, Tencent has been constantly thinking about its positioning in the process of advancing the "Internet Plus," and we hope to do something and do something wrong. If we want to do Internet +, we must + others or let others + us, first we must first do a subtraction, only the Internet - to be able to + others.

Today, our goals are more clear: We do not want to enter all walks of life and replace them; instead, we must become “digital assistants” in all walks of life. With our accumulated technology and capabilities for many years, we will help all walks of life to achieve digital transformation and upgrading. Our goal is to be an assistant.

"Three Roles": To achieve this goal, we must focus on three things: doing connections, tools and ecology. Therefore, Tencent needs to play three roles.

The first one is the connector. We hope to provide interfaces for all walks of life to enter the “digital world”, which is the API, the best and most abundant interface. The second is the toolbox. We hope to provide the most complete set of products for all walks of life. The “Digital Toolbox” is also called the SDK. The third is the ecological co-construction. We hope to provide new infrastructure with the concept of openness and collaboration. We will build digital ecological communities together with partners from all walks of life to stimulate each participation. Digital innovation.

Next, I want to talk about the "five areas." In the past two years, we have seen Digital China expand and advance in five areas: people's livelihood, consumption, production services, life and health, and environmental protection. Tencent hopes to help promote the digital transformation and upgrading of the “five students”. We have already done a lot of projects because of the time, and picking up some to share with you.

The first case is Internet + taxation, which is also the field of government administration of people's livelihood. Before coming to Chongqing this time, my colleagues told me a short story here. At the end of last year, Chongqing’s national tax had an “Internet+” landing project. It was through the WeChat account that the “Electronic Tax Bureau” was implemented. A farmer friend who raises chickens in the mountainous area of ​​Chongqing needs invoices after selling eggs, so he has to get up early in the morning and spend hours driving to the city's taxation hall. When he reached the window, he discovered that the material was not taken full. According to the previous process, he can only go home and get materials, because the road can only come back the next day. The staff of the taxation office let this farmer friend register and conduct online certification through the WeChat account number of “Chongqing State Tax”. At the beginning, the farmer friend was quite resistant. The staff spent a long time persuading him that he reluctantly agreed to try it. Unexpectedly, he tasted the sweetness when he tried it. Not only did he complete the formalities on that day, but he would only need to use the WeChat "face" at home to pay taxes. The tax bureau will send the invoice directly to his home through the postal service.

The true story of this tax with WeChat is very representative. In the past few years, we have been exploring the “Internet plus government affairs and people’s livelihood” and urban services. We are helping government departments gradually move the government affairs hall to the Internet, and handling of various payment, entry and exit, transportation, and taxation procedures is becoming increasingly convenient. In many cases, ordinary people work "only enter a door", and even do not have to enter the door to complete processing directly on the Internet. Including we are exploring the use of electronic documents in Wechat, we may not need to put ID cards, driver's licenses, etc. on the body at any time. Of course, behind these conveniences, it actually requires the government departments and us to do a lot of work. For example, the “Electronic Taxation Bureau” of Chongqing’s national tax bureau has integrated more than a dozen tax-related matters and realized “one-stop” handling, which can save 90% of the tax time for the people. This is followed by the WeChat public number, cloud computing, big data, artificial intelligence and other technical capabilities.

Therefore, the trend in the future is that all local governments have started a digital timetable. For example, we have a very important project in Guangdong called "Digital Guangdong," which is also Guangdong's "Project No. 1". The goal is to open the "data game" and, in conjunction with this year's government agency reform, it is hoped that recreating the entire process will simplify the entire process and efficiency of government services for citizens, ordinary people and enterprises.

The second case is "one yard pass" for transportation, education and tourism, which is also the area of ​​life consumption. At the end of last year, I had already experienced the construction of a ropeway using a vehicle code on the Yangtze River lift in Chongqing. This year, we have already launched in nearly 50 cities such as Chongqing, Guangzhou, Sanya, Zhengzhou, and Hefei. We only need to open the WeChat QR code of the mobile phone to get a car. The vehicle code achieves a response time of 0.2 seconds, and it can also be swept away from the network. “Ride first, pay later”. In the future, we also want to make the bus code look like a "ticket", and we will also add stamp-like social games. In addition, if the identities of the occupants can be well identified, it may be beneficial to explore the management of the city in the future, including alleviating the pressure on security.

Similarly, in the field of education, we are also promoting such a solution for digital campuses in universities. For example, students can use mobile phone two-dimensional codes in schools to solve such situations as dormitory access control, school attendance, library crossing gates, and canteen consumption. Now we have implemented this idea through the "campus code" in dozens of universities such as Peking University. Behind the "campus code," is a set of solutions for the "Wechat Campus Card." It can open up all the systems in the university. Even including class attendance, students can interact with the teacher through the mobile phone's barrage and conduct courseware interactions in class. It also includes selecting seats via cell phone when going to the library. I think when we were studying, we often used a book to occupy a place. Now we can solve it in an intelligent way.

In terms of tourism, last month we and the Yunnan provincial government issued a project called “A mobile phone tour in Yunnan”. After everyone holds a mobile phone and opens APP, applet or public number, they can easily travel in Yunnan. There are many innovations here. They also put forward a very interesting slogan called "One Code Pass." That is to say, everyone travels around Yunnan and does not need to buy tickets every time. All offline payments can be "one pass." In addition, the five major services of “Eating and lodging” have also undergone a comprehensive digital upgrade. “One-click orders,” “finding toilets,” “guided tours,” and other information can be “scrutinized” on mobile phones. This application is connected to millions of tourists. On the other side, hundreds of government departments and hundreds of thousands of merchants are connected. Therefore, tourists can “complain about one click” to the supervision department at any time during the tour. Each of the following businesses has its own Credit Rating.

The third case is smart retail, which is also the area of ​​life consumption. Many partners have noticed Tencent's layout in the retail sector. I have repeatedly stressed that we do not want to retail, but want to be a "digital assistant" in the retail industry. In the past few years, the WeChat payment link has been opened, and the current “Smart Retail Solutions” has achieved closed-loop sales of online and offline goods sales systems, fan integration operations, and advertising and marketing. For example, Wal-Mart, the largest retail supermarket, has begun to receive electric shocks. Many stores use the WeChat applet to complete the scan code and do not need manual checkout. In addition, Yonghui Supermarkets can directly open online stores through the WeChat applet, completing orders at home and delivering them in 30 minutes.

For another example, at the end of last year, we cooperated with Belle to develop an upgrade plan for smart stores. For example, we deployed sensor devices such as face cameras, where the number of passengers, the hotspots of stores, and how customers walked through stores depended on data. For example, the manager can view the number of customers, time and accompanying conversion rate accompanied by each clerk in real time, and provide targeted professional guidance to employees.

In the future, merchants can also optimize store locations, shelf displays, and LBS advertisements, public numbers, small program products, and coupons through the analysis of consumer purchasing behavior. Recently, the smart stores built by Tencent and Backgammon will also be on the ground. Everyone can pay attention to the wonderful cases brought by the summit. In the future, we believe that the digitization of the consumer marketing link will have an increasingly significant impact on the production design. This has far-reaching implications for the development of the industrial Internet and smart manufacturing.

The fourth case is smart medical care, which is also the life and health field. We have also done a lot of exploration in the medical field. In the past few years, people generally felt that they had to go to the hospital to register and pay fees to queue up. We now work hand in hand with the hospitals, start with registration and payment links, and use WeChat to solve the patient's entire visit and save everyone time. After solving this problem, we found that we can open up links in inspection orders, prescriptions, medical insurance, and commercial insurance. Therefore, in cooperation with the social security department, we have successively launched “WeChat Social Security Cards” in 27 provinces and cities. According to the experience of multiple cities, the hospital can save on average 40 minutes for each patient after on-line “WeChat Medicare Payment”.

Last year, we pushed the application of digital technology in the medical field to the diagnosis and treatment. Tencent has launched the "Tenxun Yingying" medical product based on artificial intelligence, using AI medical imaging technology to help the diagnosis and treatment, covering esophageal cancer, pulmonary nodules, diabetic retinopathy and other multi-species screening. At present, Tencent Yingying has landed more than 100 triple-A hospitals, helping doctors improve diagnostic efficiency and accuracy. At present, "Tenxun Yingying" has already landed in Chongqing's top three hospitals.

At the same time, we and Guangxi Liuzhou tried to implement the first “out-of-hospital prescription circulation” service on the basis of WeChat registration and payment functions, in-hospital prescriptions, out-of-hospital drug purchases, and even drug delivery. Because the prescription circulation involves many links such as the Health and Weaving Commission, hospitals, pharmacies, and drug companies, we have used blockchain technology to realize that prescriptions are not tampered with. We are also considering promoting the application of this technology.

The fifth is Internet + agriculture, which is also known as production services. This case is relatively long and will not be introduced one by one. In general, the use of corporate WeChat technology has helped companies do a lot of work in improving efficiency.

Finally, I would like to talk about seven kinds of tools and briefly introduce what is in the digital toolbox. Seven kinds of tools can also be called seven kinds of weapons. They are the best weapons for enterprises to overcome digital bastions. I will introduce you from the table to the inside, from the front-end to the back-end, in order.

First public number. Wechat’s public number platform was first launched in 2012. At that time, we had a slogan to allow “small individuals to have their own brands”. We hope that in a “decentralized” way, each merchant and organization can directly establish contact with their own end-consumers and have their own fans and traffic. At present, our public number system has become an important channel for communication between various enterprises and public service organizations and users.

The second small program. The development of the applet has been more than a year and it has become more and more perfect. It expands some functions that the public number cannot reach. It can be said to be a very important digital weapon. In particular, many applications of smart retail are closely related to the applet. A year has passed since the small program was launched, there are 580,000 small programs covering 1 million developers. At present, it can be said that applets have become a very popular programming environment and language environment for Chinese programmers. This is a result that China's IT industry is proud of.

Third mobile payment. Professor Yang mentioned just now that mobile payment has become one of the four new inventions in China. Mobile payment is very popular. Very early on, we pushed the use of QR code scanning. This technology does not look very advanced, but it is actually the most practical. Scanning through mobile phone cameras, we concluded in 2012 that this will be an important bridge for online and offline connections. Therefore, in WeChat, when we add friends, we consciously let the user scan the QR code to add. So when you think of the QR code, you immediately want to scan the top right corner of the WeChat. This scene is deeply rooted.

Fourth social advertisement. In the past, most branded merchants used traditional methods for marketing, recurring flyers, sending flyers, and posting traditional outdoor reports. This was inefficient and a lot of money was wasted. In the future, we hope to use digital methods to open up online and offline marketing. The effectiveness of our social advertising has also been increasingly recognized by everyone. So at the moment we are beginning to link the advertising of the circle of friends, the public number and the applet with each other. Included in these cases of smart retail, we have begun to try to use social advertising to bring about interaction and see how to generate value. This is a new thing. We are also exploring and we hope to accelerate it with our partners here.

The fifth company WeChat. Both WeChat and QQ are developing enterprise-level applications. At present, we are testing internally to allow companies to use WeChat to communicate with each other. This difficulty is still relatively large, such as retail salespersons, or your colleagues. You communicate with customers using your own personal WeChat to establish a relationship chain. However, after the employees left, all the company’s customer relationship networks were taken away, and many of the information could not be transmitted. Now that we can open up through interconnection, we can greatly increase its efficiency and it is very convenient.

Sixth largest data, cloud computing, artificial intelligence. I will not expand in detail. I also said that in the future, all walks of life are actually using artificial intelligence to process big data in the cloud.

Seventh security capability. When companies and governments conduct digital transformation, the question often asked is safety and security. In the past, although everyone was isolated on the Internet, it felt not connected or secure. However, to use the data, people are worried about how this data will guarantee security after they have been on the cloud and on the Internet. This is also a matter that Tencent attaches special importance to. We have seven internal security labs and have done a lot of research in different fields. For example, the security laboratory in Shanghai discovered a number of vulnerabilities in the Tesla system and helped Tesla resolve a number of security risks, especially in the areas of automobiles and car networking. This safety hazard is even more important because it relates to our travel, life safety. Therefore, safety is always the lifeline of Tencent.
