For the average consumer, products are often selected on smart home appliances; however, for those who have skilled skills or sufficient hands-on skills, they often want to be able to customize their products according to their own needs. Search giant Google this month put on the latest AIY kit at Target Mall to create a smart speaker that resembles Google Home and a smart camera that recognizes faces and gestures.
In early 2017, Google officially launched the AIY project (Artificial Intelligence Yourself). The goal is to encourage developers and enthusiastic technology enthusiasts to build AI hardware at home to allow more people to learn, explore and experience artificial intelligence.
Two new kits on Target today are AIY Voice and AIY Vision. Google hopes to help community developers make smart speakers and smart cameras smarter with these two suites. In Monday’s official blog postAn upgraded version of the suite was announced and also expressed interest in helping students improve computer science skills.
Both packages contain the Raspberry Pi Zero WH (Raspberry Pi Zero WH), and the AIY Vision package also includes the Raspberry Pi camera. In addition, Google has released a companion APP to facilitate the better combination and configuration of digital devices, and users can also download relevant documents from Google's AIY website.
