Microsoft announced on its official website on the 12thChange Support Mode for Windows Server 2008 SP2. Microsoft has implemented the "Monthly Quality Summary" service plan for Windows 7 and Windows 8.1 since October 2016. Sachin Goyal, Senior Program Manager, Windows Service and Delivery Team, said that Windows Server 2008 SP2 will use the same service in the future.
