Intel will not find a suitable CEO candidate for the time being. The 50th anniversary celebration will be hosted by the temporary CEO Bob Swan. Today (July 9, USA) they dug out the time capsules that were buried 15 years ago. This is one of the activities that celebrated the 35th anniversary of Intel that year. Let's guess what baby in Intel's time capsule! (Click to enlarge)

Intel chose the Willamette, Northwood, Northwood mobile, and Prestonia architecture processors. The first three were used by the Pentium 4 processor. The latter Prestonia is the architecture used by the Xeon processor. They are all manufactured by the Intel Costa Rican packaging factory. But now things are wrong, Pentium 4 has long since left the stage of history, and even the packaging plant in Costa Rica has been closed.

After opening the old time capsule, Intel also planted a new time capsule, which will also contain a series of things, including the 2017 Intel report, the Shooting Star drone that flew over the 2018 Korean Winter Olympics, and the Intel Global Network. Other things in the community, in the first picture, Intel's interim CEO Bob Swan took the Intel Proud hard drive and put it in the time capsule.

This time capsule will be available on Intel's 75th anniversary, which is only open in 2043.
