Microsoft has confirmed that Your Phone will beWindowsReleased on 10 (codenamed Redstone 5). Windows 10 Redstone 5 will reach RTM status in September and is scheduled to be released in October.
In Windows 10 Redstone 5, Your Phone only allows users to view photos on their mobile phones. Your Phone uses Microsoft Graph to make the most of its magic. It does not require users to connect their Android or iOS smartphones and PCs to the same WiFi, although collaboration between them can be better when all devices are on the same network.
The latest Windows 10 Redstone 5 preview will usher in an important change. It is learned that when users upgrade their PC to any version of Windows 10, the shortcut of Your Phone will appear on the desktop. In other words, the user no longer needs to view the list of applications in the Start menu or through the Windows key.
In response, Microsoft's Dona Sakar and Brandon LeBlanc said that this will help users access the Your Phone app faster.
Now, Microsoft is still working on building Your Phone and hopes to turn it into a Windows 10 core application one day.
For Microsoft, creating good synergies between Windows 10 and third-party mobile platforms is a considerable challenge. Because the company cannot afford to accept the consequences of not accepting the most popular mobile platforms, it will continue to invest in similar services.
