According to the researchers' report, the latestWindowsZero Day vulnerability has affected.MicrosoftData sharing component (dssvc. dll), a local service that provides data proxies between applications.
The vulnerability affects the Windows operating system, including Windows 10 (the latest October 2018 update, dubbed bug 10, is also not immune), and more importantly, Windows Server 2016, which has a much more important running role, and even the new Server 2019, is also affected.
Mitja Kolsek, co-founder and CEO of ACROS Security, warns users not to run the PoC in a production environment because of curiosity because it deletes Windows files and requires a user to run system restore to fix it. The best way to do this is to wait for Microsoft to fix the vulnerability.
