Intel Mainstream 10 Core First Exposure: or 14nm Dual-Ring Bus

According to the latest exposure from Taiwan,Intel is preparing for the next generation of desktop mainstream products codenamed Comet Lake-S (CML-S/Comet Lake), with up to 10 core 20 threads!

On the other hand,Intel, the mainstream 10 cores, will change significantly in architecture. The 10 cores are not connected by a single ring bus in series, but put on two ring buses.

How the 10 cores are distributed is unknown, but it remains to be seen whether they will result in increased core communication delays.
