NetEase's selection of responding masks with low filtration rate: tested before being put on shelves

On the afternoon of January 8th, a comparative test conducted by the Shanghai Consumer Protection Committee on some anti-smog products showed that NetEase's strict selection of 3D nano-film masks was less efficient in oil filtration, and Netease responded to Sina Technology with the selection. The mask is a PM2.5 protective mask developed in 2016. Before being put on the shelves, it is strictly selected by an authoritative third-party testing agency for testing. The test results all meet the PM2.5 protection standards. As an old 2016 model, this mask is no longer available.

Recently, the Shanghai Consumer Protection Committee for some anti-smog products, with reference to the "National Textile Products Basic Safety Technical Specifications" and the latest GB/T 32610-2016 "Daily Protective Mask Technical Specifications" and other relevant national standards, on the market The quality of the anti-fog mask was tested and compared. The results show that NetEase's carefully selected 3D nano-film mask (nominal brand: Netease strict selection; nominal specification model: 3919 code), its oil filtration efficiency is low, only 73.2%.

In response, Netease responded to the selection of the 3D nano-film masks for the PM2.5 protective mask developed in 2016. It is mainly used for smog weather protection. Before the shelves, the third-party testing agency is authorized to conduct T/CTCA. 1-2015 "PM2.5 Protective Mask" full test, the test results all meet the PM2.5 protection standards, and the testing agency issued a test report. As an old 2016 model, this mask is no longer available.

Another "Related Notes on the <pm2.5 Protective Masks> Group Standards" issued by the China Textile Business Association shows that Netease has strictly selected this mask as the T/CTCA 1-2015 PM2.5 protective mask. (Group standard), this standard only requires salt filtration efficiency, and does not require oiliness.

The China Textile Business Association said that regardless of the product implementation of the "PM2.5 protective mask" group standard or "daily protective mask technical specifications", as long as the requirements of the standard are met, are qualified anti-fog masks, consumers can rest assured to buy and use. Instructions for the group standard for PM2.5 Protective Masks

I will know in the near future that the Shanghai Consumer Protection Committee conducts random inspections on some masks on the market. The test standard is “Technical Specifications for Daily Protective Masks” (GB/T 32610-2016), and the “Comparative Test” The smog mask can block the smog for you. The test results are released, saying that a product “oily filtration efficiency is low, only 73.2%” (the company replied that its product implementation standard is T/CTCA 1- 2015 "PM2.5 protective mask" (group standard), and according to experts, this standard only requires salt filtration efficiency, no requirement for oiliness).

I will solemnly state that the "PM2.5 Protective Mask" group standard (T/CTCA 1-2015) was proposed by the China Textile Business Association and was released in December 2015 and will be implemented on March 1, 2016. The drafting committee consisting of domestic safety protection products industry experts, scientific research departments, testing institutions and protective mask manufacturers has been completed in the past two years. It is the first in China to protect air fine particles (PM2.5) suction masks. The relevant standards have played an important role in regulating the quality of our national defense smog mask products, maintaining normal market order, and protecting the health of the people. The Central People’s Daily, CCTV, Xinhua News Agency and other central media have widely reported on the publication of the standard.

The PM2.5 Protective Mask Group Standard (T/CTCA 1-2015) and the national recommended standard “Daily Protective Mask Specifications” (GB/T32610-2016) issued in the past year different. Since the target population is the general public rather than the professional laborer, the former pays more attention to reducing the respiratory resistance and is easy to wear for a longer period of time, while the latter pays more attention to the range of the filter and increases the detection index of the oily particulate matter. Regardless of which standard the product is implemented, as long as it meets the requirements of the standard, it is a qualified anti-fog mask, so consumers can purchase it with confidence.
