CNN said the money raised was not used for Trump's campaign. The PAC has not spent any money on elections in 2020 or even the final electoral cycle. Most of the money is spent on making more automatic message calls.

Prerecorded political automated message telephones are not necessarily illegal in themselves, but the Federal Communications Commission requires organizations to disclose the committees that call them. The callback number must also be provided in the message. The Federal Trade Commission also has rules for these practices to determine that these calls deceive consumers.

U.S. legislators and members of the Federal Communications Commission have struggled to address the country's automatic message phone influx. Earlier this month, Ajit Pai, chairman of the Federal Communications Commission, warned operators that if they did not implement caller authentication schemes, the agency would intervene and regulate. Legislators such as Sens. Ed Markey (D-MA) and John Thune (R-SD) have put forward proposals to help curb automatic message calls.
