In fact, this year, Razer began to expand its own notebook product line, such as the Blade 15 Base model designed for mainstream gamers, and a variety of Blade 15 Advanced models for more demanding customers and professional consumers.

Although the 2019 Blade 15 has similarities, its positioning is quite different. The aircraft is equipped with Intel's six-core Core i7-9750H processor (2.6 - 4.5 GHz) and HM370 chipset, CNC machined aluminum body, and 15.6-inch display.

In terms of thickness, the basic model is 19.9 mm and the Adavanced is 17.8 mm. Obviously, this directly affects the changes in the layout of their internal motherboards.

The Razer 15 Base model features a 15.6-inch FHD matte screen (refresh rate of 144 Hz) with an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060 GPU (6GB GDDR4 memory).

For storage, it offers 16 GB of DDR4-2667 memory (expandable to 32GB) + 512GB PCIe 3.0 x4 / NVMeSSDThere is also a 2.5-inch SATA bit (supports HDD / SSD extensions).

For connectivity, the Razer 15 Base models are relatively conservative, including Intel Wireless-AC 9560 802.11ac + Bluetooth 5, Gigabit Ethernet, Thunderbolt 3, and three USB 3.1 Gen 1 Type-A.

Also supports miniDP 1.4 + HDMI 2.0b dual display output, 3.5 mm headphone jack, and megapixel 720p webcam.

Due to the small space occupied by the 2.5" SATA bracket, the Razer 15 Base has a lithium polymer battery capacity of only 65 Wh and a total weight of 2.1 kg. For a 15.6-inch notebook, it's already lighter.

The higher-order Blade 15 Advanced model is not only upgraded to a 15.6-inch LCD display with a 240Hz refresh rate, but also4KUHDOLEDTouch screen function.

The screen response time is as low as 1-ms, covering 100% of the P3 D65 color gamut (the official one is DCI-P3, but most likely the former).

To provide better performance in the game, the Advanced model is also plugged into the GeForce RTX 2070 Max-Q or RTX 2080 Max-Q with 8GB of video memory.

The standard 16GB DDR4-2667 memory can be expanded to 64GB with 256 / 512 GB PCIe 3.0 x4 / NVMe SSD storage. It should be noted that there is no spare 2.5" SATA bay inside the machine to further expand your storage space.

Since the Blade 15 Advanced model is designed for high-end users who don't pursue low latency like gamers, the machine has abandoned the traditional Gigabit Ethernet port, but is equipped with Intel Wireless-AX200 802.11ax + Bluetooth 5 wireless connection.

There is also a Thunderbolt 3, three USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A, dual display output (mDP 1.4 + HDMI 2.0b), 3.5mm audio jack, and supportWindowsHello's megapixel infrared 720p webcam.

The 2.5" SATA bay saves space, which means the Razer can be plugged into a large 80 Wh battery, even if it weighs 2.15 to 2.21 kg and 17.8 mm thick.

The 2019 Razer Blade 15 gaming notebook will be available in North America this week (through the official website) and is expected to be rolled out to wider channels in May. Base / Advanced models start at $1999 / $2,399 (approximately 1.34 / 1.61 million RMB).
