Hong Kong Octopus will support Apple Pay

As early as iOS 13 was released, a piece of server code hinted that Octopus would be on Apple Pay, and now Hong Kong Octopus officially announced the announcement.

Octopus issued a notice saying: "In order to meet the diversified payment needs of customers, the company announced that customers will be able to pay for public transportation and retail education through Apple Pay on Apple or Apple Watch later this year. The company will announce later. More details."

As a universal electronic toll collection system in Hong Kong, Octopus can refill the cards and put them on the receiver to complete the payment process. It was originally applied to public transportation such as buses and railways, and later expanded to more different types of applications, including Shops, convenience stores, parking lots, etc.

Counting Beijing and Shanghai, Apple's Apple Pay service has now expanded to three major cities in China.
