The original Apollo 11 Guidance Computer (AGC) instructions and the source code of the lunar module are now available on GitHub. On July 20, 1969, for the first time in human history, people walked on the surface of another planet, fulfilling the goals set by President Kennedy in 1961, when Americans had not even achieved the goal of flying around the earth. July 20, 2019 is the 50th anniversary of the first human step on another planet.
According to the introduction, the open source content includes the original code of Comanche 055 and Luminary 099 in Apollo 11 guidance computer (AGC). The virtual AGC and MIT Science Museum guys completed the electronization. The purpose of this warehouse is to store the original code of Apollo 11.
According to the R-577 report, this program will be used for instruction module. This procedure paves the way for DSR project 55-23870, and NASA Manned Space Center jointly signed NAS 9-4065 contracts with The Instrumentation Laboratory, MIT, Cambridge and MASS to co-finance the project.
