IT Home on August 12, recently, DRAMeXchange announced the ranking of global memory factories in Q2 revenue in 2019, with Samsung first, SK Hailishi second and Meguiar third.
According to statistics from Jibang Consulting, in the second quarter of 2019, Samsung ranked first with revenue of $6.783 billion, SK Hailishi ranked second with revenue of $4.261 billion, and Meguiar ranked third with revenue of $3.041 billion. In terms of revenue, Samsung and SK Hynix have a combined market share of more than 70%.
Chibang Consulting said that sales bit in the second quarter had increased compared with the previous quarter, but prices continued to fall, resulting in a 9.1% decline in DRAM output in the second quarter compared with the previous quarter.
From the point of view of factory pricing, the average price of the mainstream 8GB module in July has dropped to $25.5, which is nearly 20% lower than the previous quarter's average price of $31.5.
