Dollian currently has a Category 1 storm with a maximum sustained wind speed of nearly 75 miles per hour (120 kilometers per hour). Although this is the lowest level of a hurricane, it is likely to intensify rapidly in the future.
On Wednesday, NOAA also released a motion map of Hurricane Dorian captured by GOES-East satellite. However, it is difficult to determine Dollian's final path at sea because it has changed direction once and seems likely to intensify over time.
The U.S. National Hurricane Center warned that people need to be prepared for storms, rainstorms and flash floods in the future.
