The new generation of Xbox hosts has taken a very strange name, Xbox series X. just as everyone was thinking that "X Series" must mean two hosts, Microsoft officials gave different explanations.

According to foreign media reports, in an interview with Bi, Microsoft officials said that the new host is called "Xbox", followed by "series X" which represents one of the models, just like the "X" and "s" of the Xbox one family.

This explanation is still different, but it is confirmed that there will be a new Xbox next year, probably a cheap model code named "Lockhart", with only 1 / 3 of the performance of the series X and no optical drive.

Frankly speaking, it's not surprising that Xbox's dream back to 2001. In contrast, Sony Playstation's nomenclature is much more natural, and it won't bother players.
