Microsoft just announced that Windows 102018 October Update (Version 1809) is about to terminate support on May 12,2020. This means that users with a modified operating system will not be able to continue to receive security updates after that date. The software giant recommends that users upgrade to a newer version as soon as possible to maintain the security of their devices, acquire new functions and other improvements.

The windows 10 October 2018 update (version 1809) is scheduled to expire on May 12, three months later. Before that, we have enough time to prepare.
Previously, due to the incompatibility or unexpected situation of some applications caused by version update, many people chose to postpone the deployment of large version (such as accidentally clearing user data in early 1809).
After a series of embarrassments, microsoft also had to pause the release of updates, and then repeatedly patched the system updates one after another, eventually "re-released "1809 updates in november 2018.
Fortunately, Microsoft has since adjusted the Windows 10 system update process, bringing a more cautious and simplified experience. If you like to taste it, you can deploy the October 2019 update (version 1909) as soon as possible.
