Two of Tesla's employees tested positive for the new coronavirus, according to an internal email sent out today.Tesla said the two employees, who have been working at home for about two weeks, showed no symptoms while working in the office.
Before that, tesla did not announce that company employees were infected with the new crown virus. Tesla CEO Elon Musk (Elon Musk) also told employees last week that none of its 56,000 employees was positive
A new crown virus test was positive for two Tesla employees, said Laurie Shelby (Laurie Shelby), head of the Tesla environment and security department, in an email to employees today.
The email didn't say which department the two employees worked in and what role they played, but it was the first time Tesla had confirmed that an employee had contracted the new coronavirus.
