Foxconn said the delay in customs clearance in India has been partially resolved

Companies, including iPhone maker Foxconn, have had delays in customs clearance at Indian ports, but at least some of them have now been cleared, and the stagnation of production lines has been eased.Delays in customs clearance of some parts seized at Indian ports have been resolved, at least for Apple supplier Foxconn.

Hon Hai told the Taipei stock exchange that all additional customs clearance required by Indian officials had been completed. The company did not provide further details, but said customs clearance and all local regulatory procedures have now been followed.

Ships from China to India, including those containingApple and Dell Vessels such as technology company components or equipment were previously reported to have been detained at one or more ports for up to a week, and Foxconn has audited more than 150 vessels whose cargo was stuck at Chennai.
