If you don't want to use the Google Chrome browser that is pre installed in Android system, Firefox browser is a good choice. However, the release version of the browser in the play store is quite confusing. If you enter the Firefox search, users will find many browsers with similar functions but different names. In order to solve this problem (as I know after reading this article), Firefox is simplifying, and the latest operation is to completely offline the "Preview" version.
Before this week, there were five major versions of the Android version of foxbrowser -- Firefox, Firefox beta, Firefox nightly, Firefox preview, and Firefox preview nightly Unless you're a fan of the browser community, you can hardly tell the difference.
Mozilla is cleaning things up by removing preview builds from the list. In the future, only stable, beta, and nightly versions will be released for Firefox for Android.
This change is further explained in each built application. Mozilla now guides the upgrade path of preview users to the Firefox nightly version, and after gradually booting users to the beta version, Firefox preview night will be completely disabled.
But it's a bit of a headache that Firefox focus hasn't changed, so even after simplification, there are still four built browsers on Google play.
