TikTok doesn't sell or pass an Oracle deal: The U.S. government says it ca n' t get the money

The U.S. government is not satisfied with tiktok because of Microsoft's exit and an agreement with Oracle.

According to CNBC reports, The u.s. has publicly said it doesn't like the between oracle and TikTok because TikTok u.s. business will not be sold to oracle and the treasury will not be able to get compensation from the deal.


TikTok submitted a solution to the U.S. government on the 14th of this month. Oracle will provide TikTok with cloud services, not involving TikTok sales or transfer of its core technology, according to media disclosure.

Prior to that, U.S. Treasury Secretary manuchin said in an interview that the U.S. Treasury Department received a proposal over the weekend that Oracle, as tiktok's trusted data security compliance partner, represents the solution to the U.S. national security issues. Tiktok will continue to use the United States as its headquarters and create 20000 jobs for the United States.

It is understood that if the proposal submitted by tiktok is approved, Oracle will provide cloud services for tiktok, which does not involve the sale of tiktok or the transfer of tiktok's core technology.

The deadline for tiktok's final solution is September 20. At present, two procedures are in progress, one is the review of tiktok by cfuis of the United States, and the other is the national security review based on the executive order of the president of the United States.
