U.S. processor giant AMD company's senior vice president and general manager of data center and embedded division Forrest Norrod revealed at today's Deutsche Bank Technology conference that the company has obtained a license to supply Huawei, according to foreign media reports
Forrest norrod stressed that it is 100% committed to complying with U.S. law and that appropriate measures have been taken to ensure that AMD manages its entity list and its interactions with customers or potential customers.

Earlier, including Intel, micron technology, Samsung, SK Hynix, China Taiwan TSMC, MediaTek, and Mainland China SMIC, all manufacturers disclosed to the US Department of commerce the application for HUAWEI's continued supply.
However, some manufacturers applying for licenses and industry experts believe that there is little hope of passing the application.
AMD is one of the processor suppliers of Huawei notebook computers, and its sharp dragon Series CPU has been adopted by many kinds of Huawei laptops.
