Shen BoSince entering the Chinese market 30 years ago, ASML has provided comprehensive technology and capabilities to meet the needs of Chinese customers. At present, we have provided customers with more than 700 installed units in China. While complying with laws and regulations, ASML fully supports the development of customers and China's IC industry.

In order to better support and meet the needs of customers, ASML officially established a branch in Tianjin in 2000. At present, ASML has 12 offices, 11 warehousing and logistics centers, 2 development centers and 1 Training Center in China, with more than 1000 employees.

Our earliest machine came into China in 1988. We have a good cooperation with the Chinese IC industry at every stage. At present, more than 700 units installed in China cover most types of ASML products.

Because the lithography machine is the core equipment for the customer's chip factory, we should first ensure the normal operation of the machine and help the customer to do a good job in the product. In recent years, we have set up our own training center in China to train talents in the lithography industry. At the same time, it has become two technology development centers in Shenzhen and Beijing, doing the development of photolithography and measurement.

Shen BoIn fact, the history of the integrated circuit industry has been 60 years. Now, the data generated in the information age and the demand for computing power are becoming higher and higher. However, there are thousands of processes in chip manufacturing, not only lithography. From our point of view, there are some different requirements for equipment after the overall process level has reached a certain level, but the technical reserve time ahead is very long. Now the integrated circuit industry talks more about Moore's law, that is, every two years the chip technology will move forward, in fact, the performance of the chip every two years will be more powerful and the cost will be lower. Moore's law actually makes chips cheaper, which is all brought about by the development of technology.

In terms of the industry as a whole, I think there are several major directions for us to push the IC industry forward: one is to make chips smaller from a physical point of view.
