In a recently updated blog post, Microsoft reviewed the new features and optimizations added to onedrive in December last year. These include creating shared libraries in onedrive, full fidelity shared libraries, and excluding specific files during synchronization.
Create a shared library on onedrive
●Onedrive full fidelity shared library on the web
In addition to being able to create shared libraries from within onedrive, Microsoft also makes it easier for you to access the contents of these shared libraries. Not only can you use onedrive to synchronize these shared libraries from SharePoint and Microsoft teams to your PC or Mac, but now you can view them in full from onedrive on the network. This means you can create new documents, pin important documents to the top, add shortcuts to your onedrive, create views, manage metadata, share, etc.
Exclude specific files during synchronization
The administrator can now specify the file name or file extension that you want to exclude synchronization at the device level. This setting allows you to prevent onedrive from synchronizing applications（ OneDrive.exe ）Upload specific files to onedrive or SharePoint. There are no errors in the skipped files and they remain in the local onedrive folder.
