On the first patch Tuesday in 2021, Microsoft released cumulative updates for multiple windows 10 feature updates. Although these updates are mainly to fix security vulnerabilities, they also fix the "reset this PC" function in the windows 10 version 1607 to version 1909 feature updates.
The previous use of this function will fail. When the user enters recovery mode or restarts to the desktop, he will receive a reminder of "there was a problem resetting your PC".
The versions affected include
Client version:
Windows 10, version 1909;
Windows 10, version 1903;
Windows 10, version 1809;
Windows 10 Enterprise LTSC 2019;
Windows 10, version 1803;
Windows 10, version 1709;
Windows 10 Enterprise LTSC 2016;
Windows 10, version 1607
Server version
Windows Server, version 1909;
Windows Server, version 1903;
Windows Server, version 1809;
Windows Server 2019;

The bug was introduced last year through the cumulative update kb4524244, which was released as part of the February 2020 patch update on Tuesday. After nearly a year of waiting, this problem was finally solved in the windows 10 update (kb4598479 SSU) released this week.
"The independent security update kb4524244 has been removed and will not be re released through windows update, Windows Server Update Services (WSUS) or Microsoft Update catalog," it wrote in the update log. This does not affect any other updates, including the latest cumulative update (LCU), monthly rollover, or security only updates. "
