According to foreign media CNET,Mark A. Brown of NASA / JPL's solar system Ambassador Program looked at the debris of a snowstorm in Iowa and decided to make a real car sized snow sculpture Mars rover willpower.Brown spent three days building the rover, its wheels decorated with silver metal paint, and a mastcam made of PVC pipes and a cardboard box.
The snow sculpture Rover bears a remarkable resemblance to the real willpower rover, which is on its way to Mars and is scheduled to land on February 18. "The plan is to try to create the closest possible similarity in size... I have enough snow to do that," Brown told CNET.
The willpower Rover also carried a Mars helicopter called ingenuity. The experimental helicopter will try to power fly on the red planet. Brown hopes to pay homage to ingenuity as well, putting a reward model for the helicopter next to the rover.
Brown shared a video on Tuesday showing the snowsculpture Rover being hit by a storm.
