Google today announced a feature update for Chrome OS 88 to help improve the password free login experience for some websites. Thanks to the company's push for webauthn authentication (launched on Android devices in 2019), users do not need to create passwords for specific websites. For example, when accessing Dropbox, GitHub or OKTA, you only need to use the pin code or fingerprint used by the chrome book device to verify.

In addition to faster network login, Chrome OS now allows users to customize the lock screen interface (Google photo album or art gallery can be selected as the screen saver).
In addition, the lock screen interface of Chrome OS can display real-time weather, music currently playing and other information (pause or cut songs). Interested users can find the "personalization" option in the system settings menu of Chrome OS and customize it.
