On February 18, Beijing time, baidu released its unaudited financial report for the fourth quarter and the whole year ending December 31, 2020. In the fourth quarter, baidu achieved revenue of 30.3 billion yuan and net profit (non US GAAP) attributable to Baidu reached 6.9 billion yuan, exceeding market expectations for four consecutive quarters. In 2020, Baidu's revenue is 107.1 billion yuan, and its net profit (non US GAAP) is 22 billion yuan. As the focus of Baidu's AI strategy, Apollo continued to develop at full speed in the field of intelligent transportation and intelligent driving this quarter, with remarkable achievements.

Apollo continues to make breakthroughs in the field of autonomous driving. On January 27, 2021, California Vehicle Administration (DMV) issued Baidu an open road driverless test license. In the future, Apollo will focus on driverless test projects in the United States. So far, baidu Apollo has conducted unmanned open road test in Beijing, Changsha and California. On February 5, 2021, the only official automatic driving report in China, Beijing automatic driving vehicle road test report (2020), showed that Baidu Apollo has become the enterprise with the largest number of test vehicles and the longest test mileage in Beijing for the third year in a row, and has continued to lead in many fields.

So far, Apollo's automatic driving test fleet has more than 500 vehicles, with 2900 patents, more than 7 million km test mileage and more than 200 test licenses, including 150 manned test licenses.

With its strong intelligent transportation and automatic driving capabilities, Apollo is building more benchmark cases to set a model for a wider range of intelligent travel life in the future. On February 9, 2021, Guangzhou Huangpu District and Baidu Apollo jointly built the world's first autonomous driving Maas platform for multiple travel services. Ordinary citizens can call through Baidu app and Baidu map and get automatic driving transportation services. This is a milestone in the era of intelligent travel, which makes the automatic driving service further enter the daily life of the people. At the same time, it is also a benchmark case of digital transportation operator model, which greatly improves the operation and management efficiency of urban transportation. In the future, Apollo's robotaxi will be put into normal trial operation in Huangpu District of Guangzhou. Like the citizens in Beijing, Changsha, Cangzhou and other places, Guangzhou citizens can experience automatic driving in their daily travel.
