According to Samsung insiders,The shortage of Qualcomm chips has hit the production of Samsung's low-end models.

Previously, it was pointed out that there was a shortage of supply for the latest flagship chip snapdragon 888 of Qualcomm, but whether it would affect the capacity of Samsung's flagship mobile phone is still unknown.

Of course, Samsung is not the only company facing the problem of chip shortage.

Previously,Lu Weibing, President of Xiaomi China and general manager of redmi brand, once tweeted that this year's chips are too scarce. It's not a shortage, it's an extreme shortage.

At the same time, the relevant person in charge of realme also said that the main chips and small materials of Qualcomm are out of stock, including power supply and RF devices.

Some analysts pointed out that the mobile phone processor, PMIC power management chip and MCU microprocessor chip are out of stock.

It is understood that due to the complicated chip production process and huge investment, the production capacity can not be rapidly improved, and the chip shortage may continue to the end of 2021.
