According to CCTV, today,The space station's Tianhe core module and the long march 5B yao-2 carrier rocket assembly have been transferred to the launch area. In the future, the functional inspection and joint test before launch will be carried out as planned.
At present,The facilities and equipment of the launch site are in good condition, and all the research and test units of the project are making full preparations.
Tianhe core module is the first space station core module in China's manned space project, which is an important starting point for the construction of China's space station. Then two experimental modules were launched to rendezvous with the core module of Tianhe space station.
According to the preliminary task planning,China will launch Tianhe core module, Wentian experimental module and Mengtian experimental module successively for on orbit assembly and construction of the basic configuration of the space station. The on orbit construction of the space station will be completed around 2022. At present, the crew for four missions in the construction phase of the space station has been selected, with a mission period of three to six months.
According to the flight plan, China will complete the on orbit construction of the Chinese space station through 11 missions this year and next, including one core module and two experimental modules, four cargo spacecraft and four manned spacecraft.
The first stage of the series rocket core is 5 meters in diameter, with four boosters with a diameter of 3.35 meters. The green and high-performance liquid oxygen, liquid hydrogen, liquid oxygen and kerosene are used as propellants respectively, and the takeoff thrust reaches 1000 tons.
The total length of the long 5B rocket is about 53.7 meters, the take-off mass is about 849 tons, and the low earth orbit carrying capacity reaches 25 tons, which can meet the launch requirements of about 22 tons of space station cabin.
