In November last year, Sony officially launched the Airpak intelligent UAV project. In January this year, Sony's Airpak UAV appeared in CES 2021 exhibition. After a long wait,
Sony airport S1, which costs $8999 (57000 yuan), includes two propellers, a remote control, two batteries and a battery charger. The product is expected to go on sale in September.
It is reported that Sony airport S1 is fully compatible with alpha series full frame antireflective cameras, Sony said,This is the smallest UAV in the industry that can carry Sony Alpha camera. It can not only shoot dynamically, but also have accurate and stable flight control performance.
In terms of parameters, when equipped with the camera, the endurance of airfeak S1 is 12 minutes, the endurance of no-load is 22 minutes, the maximum flight speed is 90 km / h, and the acceleration can be completed in 3.5 seconds.
In terms of configuration, airpack S1 is equipped with Sony's self-developed propulsion device and flight control system. Five stereo cameras and two infrared ranging sensors are installed at the front, rear, left, right and bottom of the fuselage respectively. The UAV's positioning and 3D space perception are realized through self-made algorithm. Even in areas with poor GPS signal, it can achieve stable flight through IMU, air pressure, infrared and other sensors.
The fuselage is equipped with two landing gears. In order to avoid affecting the shooting effect, the landing gear can be retracted upward during the flight.
It should be noted that the UAV only supports Sony's own cameras and cameras. At the same time, camera, lens, pan tilt and other accessories need to be purchased separately.
Sony officials have said,Sony will be committed to further promoting and creating unprecedented new value through the application of imaging / sensing technology and 3R Technology (reality, real-time, real-time and remote) in the field of UAV.
